The NABCEP PV Associate Job Task Analysis (JTA) includes six (6) knowledge content domains:

1. Safety
2. Core Knowledge
3. Sales & Economics
4. Design
5. Installation
6. Operations & Maintenance

Part of NABCEP’s mission is to ensure that its certifications and credentials remain relevant and current so that they accurately reflect the jobs within the renewable energy industry, and simultaneously maintain the highest industry standards for personnel in the field. NABCEP developed a new PV Associate Job Task Analysis (JTA) to better define the role of a PV Associate in the workplace. Although the number of learning objectives were collapsed into five domains, the majority of the knowledge contained in the previous Learning Objectives can be found in the new JTA.
