NABCEP Education & Training CEU Extension Request

NABCEP is offering an extension on Board Certified recertifications and Associate renewals due to the postponement of the 2021 NABCEP CE Conference which is being held on August 9-12, 2021. NABCEP Board Certified Professionals and Associates who are due for recertification or renewal on or before September 1, 2021 may request a NABCEP CEU Extension and have their expiration dates extended to October 1, 2021 to be able to meet their continuing education requirements.

If your Board Certification or Associate credential is expiring between March 1, 2021 and September 1, 2021, NABCEP will waive any late fees.  If you are charged, NABCEP will refund the late fee.

IMPORTANT!  You must complete your recertification application and submit for approval by 10/01/2021 or you will forfeit your recertification payment.

How do I receive the CEU Extension?

You are required to complete a CEU Extension Request in your myNABCEP account, pay your recertification fee and submit to NABCEP for approval.  Once the request is approved, the expiration date on your Board Certification or Associate credential will be extended to October 1, 2021.

To begin, click the appropriate button below and the CEU Extension Request workflow will be added to your myNABCEP account under My Credentials.  Then login to your myNABCEP account to complete.

What's Next?

When you have the required CEUs to complete your Board Certified recertification or Associate renewal, you must complete the Recertification or Renewal application in your myNABCEP account.

  1. Log into your myNABCEP account.
  2. Click on the Recertification or Renewal application.
  3. If you were approved for a 2021 CEU Extension and already paid your recertification/renewal fee, choose “Upload Evidence of Payment” and upload the payment receipt. (Note: Copies of the previous payment receipt will be located in the Applicant`s Digital Wallet.)
  4. Complete the recertification/renewal requirements and submit to NABCEP for approval.
  5. Once approved, your expiration date will change to reflect your 3-year certification cycle and a new certificate will be generated in your account.
