NABCEP, a nationwide non-profit providing certifications to the renewable energy industry, seeks a program manager capable of providing support for NABCEP’s many current and planned programs. The successful candidate will display the ability to write coherently, organize volunteer efforts, plan meetings across the country, issue press releases, maintain a web site, and have experience with reporting from a database. Reports to: NABCEP Executive Director
Location: Clifton Park, NY
Description: Manage all aspects of credentialing programs. Coordinate efforts with the NABCEP Executive Director.
The Program Manager’s duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- Provide proactive support of NABCEP’s current and planned certification and recertification programs;
- Engage in grant writing and administration;
- Solicit and organize volunteer efforts to enlist Subject Matter Expert (SME) membership;
- Engage in vendor contract negotiation and administration;
- Update website;
- Issue press releases as required;
- Maintain Certificant files;
- Monitor and enforce application of Certification Mark Usage Policy.
- Ensure ongoing adherence to ANSI and ISO/IEC 17024 certification standards
