NABCEP Announces Accreditation of First New York State Residential PV Installation Company

Clifton Park, NY (December 7, 2015) –

The North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) is very pleased to announce that Apex Solar Power of Glens Falls, New York has achieved NABCEP Company Accreditation. This company is the first in New York State to achieve this credential. To earn this accreditation, Apex Solar Power had to undergo a thorough and rigorous application and review process that included the submission of procedures and policies and an independent, third party inspections of previously installed systems. The core elements of NABCEP Company Accreditation include: employment of NABCEP certified installation and technical sales personnel, documented and consistent policies and programs as they relate to the operations of the company, ongoing worker training program(s), and a strong focus on worker safety.

The NABCEP Company Accreditation Program was initially funded by the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA). NABCEP is proud to add a New York State Company to the growing list of companies that have achieved this credential.
