The executive we seek will work to define and initiate a profitable solar product and program business model, incorporating market development through distribution and installation of solar films and panels, in conjunction with and support of Masco’s overall installation and contractor services strategy. 


Candidates should have a Bachelors degree in engineering or related field (MBA preferred) and 15 years general business operations experience, 5 years of which should be in a profit and loss position and demonstrate strong business acumen. Acquired experience should be in the distributed and/or renewable energy-generation industry with specific knowledge in solar energy. Applied experience in residential and/or commercial markets is required.  Outstanding leadership is required.

The Center for Sustainable Energy located at The City University of New York’s Bronx Community College is seeking a Solar Coordinator to implement New York City’s new Solar City Partnership. This two year position would include efforts to rapidly build New York City ’s solar market, develop and implement strategies to address solar energy market risks, and integrate solar energy into the City ’s long-term planning. The Coordinator would be a key member of a network of staff from New York City agencies, the US Department of Energy, and twelve other Solar Cities from around the country working on the Solar America Initiative Solar City Partnership.
