The NABCEP Solar Thermal Technical Committee created the initial Solar Thermal Task Analysis. That document defines general set of knowledge, skills and abilities typically required of solar thermal practitioners who install and maintain solar hot water and pool heating systems. The Committee is responsible for updating and revising the Task Analysis based on technological and regulatory changes within the industry.
A subset of the Committee is also responsible for creating and revising items on the Solar Thermal Installer Certification Exam and for keeping the Solar Thermal Study Guide up to date with the Solar Thermal Task Analysis, and in line with the Exam.
