The Small Wind Technical Committee is currently working on the Small Wind Energy Systems Task Analysis. That document defines general set of knowledge, skills and abilities typically required of practitioners who install and maintain small wind energy systems.
Upon completion and subsequent approval by NABCEP’s Board of Directors, it is anticipated the Committee will create a draft set of requirements necessary to qualify for the anticipated Small Wind Energy Systems Installer Certification Exam. These steps would take place after significant, demonstrated need and buy in from small wind stakeholders within the industry.
